Dr. Swann immediately diagnosed my issues with my previous right hip surgeries done by another surgeon: I had a loose hip stem. During his first surgery to correct the problem, he discovered I had an infection. It was treated with an antibiotic infused temporary hip stem and IV antibiotics. I underwent a second surgery after the infection was gone and am doing well after almost 2 years of hip surgery problems. I appreciate that Dr. Swann does research and is published.
