About

Presley Swann, M.D

Presley Swann M.D.

Dr. Presley Swann is one of the top hip and knee surgeons in the country where 20-30% of his practice travels from out of state. He credits this to his father, an ophthalmologist in Texas, who taught him at an early age to always treat others better than yourself and always do the right thing regardless of situation, payer, or problem. He was instilled to be the best and cutting edge.

Dr. Swann did a masters in pharmacology and completed his medical degree at Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA during Hurricane Katrina. He was given the honor of being selected into AOA which means he served the community during crisis, completed research, and graduated at the top of his class. He was accepted to the world renowned Mayo Clinic for his training in Orthopedic Surgery. While at Mayo, Dr. Swann completed many research projects and wrote chapters for books on joint replacement surgery.

He was selected into one of the top fellowships in the country for hip preservation and joint replacement to become an expert in his field. Since his formal training, Dr. Swann has been named Fellowship Director and Founder of the Hip and Knee Fellowship to help train the next generation of surgeons. He has been featured in many news outlets due to his non-narcotic pathways for joint replacement, excellent outcomes, and is a nationally known teaching surgeon having other surgeons come in to learn from him.

Dr. Swann enjoys spending family time golfing, playing baseball and going skiing in the mountains with his wife, Laura and two boys. Dr. Swann coaches little league baseball which provides challenges but is extremely rewarding to see young kids develop self-confidence and learn that nothing in life replaces hard work and dedication. He is the best orthopedic doctor in Lone tree and a leading evidence-driven orthopedic doctor in Littleton.
